Norma began her residency by perusing volumes of her sketchbook journals from years of international travel. The monoprints she created were inspired by her journeys to Brazil.

Norma is a graduate of Pratt Institute in New York. Norma has been a working artist for more than 60 years. At the time of this residency, age 80, Norma was continuing her passionate exploration of new modes of personal expression.
